What we know
Spamtrap is a Rails gem that protects forms from spambots through opt-in, combinable mechanisms including hidden honeypot fields, nonces, field name mutation, and a minimum fill-time check.
Evidence limits
The guarantees and limitations of each mechanism are as documented by the project itself; their effectiveness against real bots has not been independently verified.
